We have seen an increase in requests from our clients to “do something” about their existing staircases at home. And we completely understand why.

The standard pre-finished staircases that usually come with a house or apartment are typically either in tile, marble or dark rosewood. And what better way to create an airy flow throughout your home than to also clad your staircase with a Kährs wood floor?

This client in Green Community sets a perfect example of how to modernise a staircase. By adding a highly contemporary-looking glass panel instead of a classic handrail and clad the steps with Kährs Oak Limestone wood flooring (the same wood floor as seen throughout the rest of the villa) – they have successfully created a perfect transition between the villa’s two levels while also enhancing the staircase as an important decorative element in the home.
